IES: integrated information system

IES is an integrated information system for monitoring environmental data from heterogeneous sources (pollution air quality, noise emissions, water quality, etc.) and for the continuous monitoring of industrial plant emissions (CEMS). The system consists of two components: IES-FDA (Field Data Acquisition) and IES-Cloud (Web Application), the former is installed at the industrial plant in the vicinity of the emission points the latter is installed on a cloud. In order to CEMS the system is compliant with EC Directives and relative mandatory standards.

Main features of the system:

  • Distributed architecture allows monitoring data sources from multiple Network locations;
  • Possibility of crossing data from more plants and emission points;
  • Configurable for heterogeneous data source (industrial emissions, pollution air quality, noise emissions, water quality, etc.);
  • Data acquisition from all analyzers and other devices via digital or analog channels;
  • Traceability of all events and technical data; – Remote Configuration and Control of data acquisition systems and communication systems;
  • Alerts on event (fault, alarm, exceeded legal limits, etc.) and also through automatic messages via e-mail and text messages;
  • Calculations (scaling, adjustment, linearization, standardization);
  • Aggregation of the resulting data on various time periods to calculate means;
  • Storage of raw data with frequency per minute in relational databases (storage of all calculated values);
  • System status display and Data display: raw, means, trends, graphs, tables;
  • Automatic output of compliant reports with local authorities requirements;
  • Data export in various le formats: Excel, XML, HTML, PDF, CSV;
  • Real-time monitoring of parameters, overruns and means;
  • Detection of ELVs overruns and devices unavailabilities;
  • Management of the calibration function in conformity with EN 14181 standard (QAL2);
  • Automatic QAL3 calibration, compliant with EN 14181 standard;
  • Control charts: CUSUM, EWMA and Shewart;
  • Schedule and track of maintenance tasks;
  • Secure transfer data to IES Cloud via VPN (Virtual Private Network);
  • Multi-user (Role-based access control);
  • It is possible to mark as “invalidated by user” some elementary (minutes) data. Automatic calculations starts in order to get all new associated values (hours, day, etc.. values);
  • Computerized maintenance management system;
  • Management (consultation and configuration) system through the use of all common web browsers.
